What we collect

safety.datatruck.io is read-only. We don’t ask for accounts, passwords, or personal information. The site collects:

• Search queries typed into the carrier search box (used to fulfill the search and tracked anonymously in our analytics)
• Page views and click events via Google Analytics 4, including an outbound-click event when you click the DataTruck CTA
• Standard server logs — IP address, user agent, timestamp — kept for 30 days for security and debugging

Cookies

The only cookies set on the site are those used by Google Analytics 4 for anonymous traffic measurement. No other cookies, no third-party tracking pixels, no advertising trackers.

Data we expose

All carrier data displayed on this site is public information sourced from FMCSA SAFER. We don’t collect or store personal information about visitors beyond what’s described above.

Removing your information

If you’re a carrier and want a record removed from FMCSA’s database, that request needs to go to FMCSA directly — we mirror their public data and don’t have authority to alter it. FMCSA’s contact form is here.
